On Sunday, August 30, I had the joy of joining Pastor Robert Balduc and the St. Peter Lutheran Church & School community in Northlake for a very special celebration – the ribbon cutting of their new education building.
For the past year, I have had the privilege of watching this exciting ministry take shape. St. Peter has constructed a new 22,000-square-foot education facility for the 2026–27 school year, expanding its existing preschool and establishing a K–5th grade elementary school.

It is hard to believe that just one year ago, Texas CEF stood alongside St. Peter for the groundbreaking of this new building. To return one year later and watch the congregation cut the ribbon and open this beautiful new space was truly a blessing. Moments like these remind us that ministry is not simply about buildings or financial resources It is also about creating spaces where God’s people can share Christ, nurture faith, and serve future generations.

It is a joy to celebrate this exciting new chapter with St. Peter Lutheran Church and School. Texas CEF has been blessed to partner with this congregation through many stages of its ministry, and we look forward with anticipation to seeing how God will use this new school to share Christ and impact generations to come.
We give thanks to God for His faithfulness to St. Peter and for the opportunity to walk alongside this congregation. May these new classrooms be filled with children learning, growing, and discovering the love of Jesus. May the ministry that takes place within these walls continue to impact generations for His Kingdom.
