On Saturday, May 2, Texas CEF joined Epiphany Lutheran Church in Bastrop in celebrating their Land Dedication Service! Pastor Nathan Wendorf, Texas District Area Vice President, was the guest preacher. (Pictured below: Pastor Nathan Wendorf and Pastor E.B. Holschuh)
The service was followed by a BBQ lunch provided by the Holy Smokers from Bethany Lutheran Church, Austin.
For the Epiphany family, our recent land dedication was far more than a ceremony on a piece of property—it was a visible reminder that God has been guiding and sustaining this mission from the very beginning.
Standing together on the land He has provided, surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ, prayers, generosity, and joy, we were given a glimpse of what the Lord is building among us: not merely a future church building, but a Christ-centered community rooted in His Word and sent into the world to Connect, Grow, and Multiply.
The overwhelming support, the presence of so many people, and the generous offerings received all testified that this mission is larger than ourselves. It was a moment of gratitude, hope, and renewed commitment as we entrusted the next chapter of Epiphany Lutheran Church into the faithful hands of God. ~ Pastor Holschuh
