Dedication at St. John in Athens

In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him. Ecclesiastes 7:14

Before our daily lives, including how and where we worship, changed due to the Coronavirus, a wonderful celebration happened in Athens, Texas.

On March 8, 2020 members of St. John Lutheran Church, Athens, gathered to worship and dedicate all the wonderful blessings God has given them. The members celebrated by literally walking on His Word because of Bible verses written under the new flooring. They also celebrated a brand-new kitchen, new paint in the sanctuary and a brand-new roof!

It doesn’t end there, though. Because of faithful investors supporting St. John, they were able to receive a Loan Rebate Check!

Every investor in Texas District Church Extension Fund helped make this wonderful opportunity for celebration happen!
