What is My Texas CEF?

My Texas CEF promotes the good stewardship of resources. By using this financial service, you help us reduce administrative costs, which in turn allow us to keep loan rates to churches as low as possible. Enjoy the ease and convenience of accessing your Texas CEF investment information—anywhere you have Internet access!

Individual investors may enroll online by visiting My Texas CEF’s enrollment page or by completing the Individual Enrollment Form. Congregations and organizations must complete the Organization Enrollment Form to apply for online access. Mail the completed form to:

If you mail your request for online access, you will receive information welcoming you to My Texas CEF within seven days after Texas CEF receives your request form. At that time, you will receive your My Texas CEF user name and temporary password by email.

Phone Verification

If you are using a new or unregistered device, you will be prompted to complete a one-time security update. The phone number(s) on file for you will be displayed and you will be prompted to complete the verification by text message or by phone call. If your phone number is not listed, Texas CEF does not have an accurate phone number on file for you. To update your contact information, please complete a Personal Information form and mail it to Texas CEF. This is a one-time security feature. You will only be prompted to do the phone verification when you are using a new or unregistered device.


If you wish to change your password, log onto My Texas CEF, select “Administration,” then “Change Password” and follow the instructions.

“Ask A Question / Send a Message”

Use this feature to communicate with Texas CEF via secure email.

  • Request an electronic funds transfer TO or FROM your Texas CEF investment (if you are already signed up for EFT)
  • Transaction requests, such as withdrawal or transfer
  • Phone number update
  • General inquiries

To ask a question or send a message, select “Customer Service,” “Requests and Messages,” and then “Ask a Question / Send a Message.” To send a message about a particular investment or transaction, under the heading “Account Overview,” select the account number. This will reveal the history. Then, select the envelope next to the transaction in question. A screen will appear allowing you to type and send your secure message.


Alerts are e-mail messages that you can request. Some of the alerts available are:

  • Your note will be maturing soon.
  • Your balance has reached a specified amount.
  • Your requested service has been fulfilled.
  • You have a secure e-mail message.
  • To set up an alert, go to the “Administration” tab and select “Alerts” under “Manage Communications.”


My Texas CEF uses industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your personal information. From the moment you enter your My Texas CEF user name and password until you log off; all communications between you and Texas CEF within the My Texas CEF system are encrypted to protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your account information.
